Henkei Sons of Cybertron

2010, The Year of Exclusive

2010 is a year of exclusive Transformers. In July, there is the MP-4s Sleep Convoy. In August, we have the Animated Crystal Sons of Cybertron. This month September, we have the Henkei Sons of Cybertron. Despite the exclusivity, Takaratomy and Hasbro are causing a lot of confusion as there are many versions of it.

Henkei Sons of Cybertron

There is a slight difference in packaging for these 2 versions. 1st, there is the sticker in front of the packaging box where the Shanghai Convention release spots a convention sticker while the Asia release has a different 200 sticker.

Left: Shanghai Convention Release with a Shanghai Convention Sticker
Right: Asia Release with a different 2010 Sticker

As can see, the Serial Number of the limited 2010 pieces can be seen on the top of the packaging window while there is no Serial number printed for the Asia version.

Left: Shanghai Convention version with Serial number 1624/2010 (Limited to 2010 pieces)
Right: Asia Release with NO Serial Number

Top: Shanghai Convention version with a Chinese Prinout sticker at the bottom of the packaging box
Bottom: No Sticker is spotted for the Asia Mass Production Version

No difference on the back of the packaging

Masterpiece Sleep Convoy MP-4S

I do not intend to get this in the 1st place due to the fact that it is over my monthly budget for toys. After a visit to CSC, it proves too tempting to resist. Yes! I finally decided to get it (this month is my birthday so why not? haha :P) This is by far the most expensive toy in my transformers collection. Reason for the high price tag is because this piece is only limited to 2010 pieces world wide.

The toy is individually packed inside its own carton box. The one I got was the Asia version, so its not Takaratomy box. A bit disappointed but Takaratomy version will cost a lot more. Too ex liao :(

Finally open it up....Very nice box :D

You may ask, what is Sleep Convoy about?
Sleep Convoy represents Optimus Prime's last moments in Transformers: The Movie, after his fatal fight with Megatron. The scene ended with Optimus Prime handing his Matrix (Leadership of Autobot) to Ultra Magnus after which he went 'offline' (When Transformers die, they turned 'Grey', that explains the color)

The Specs Card with the Serial Number: Below serial is 2010

Since i had not opened mine, you can find reviews of it in this webpage

Marvel Crossover Incredible Hulk

This is an excellent series coming from Hasbro named Marvel Hero Crossovers. As the name suggested, the series is about having a transformable super hero. Yes. What I had here is the 1st of its kind, the Incredible Hulk that transforms from a tank to an Incredible Hulk.

Vehicle Mode: Stout tank
