Transformers United...Wave 1

This series is far more superb than I thought. The painting is much more superior than Hasbro's cheapo plastic resin color. I actually ordered 3 pieces bit end up getting 10 (include 3 extras). Wave one consist of the following:

Fansproject Crossfire2A Explorer

Fansproject Crossfire XF-02A Explorer Packaging:

Alternate Mode:

Fansproject Crossfire 2A Explorer's alternate mode is different from the G1 Blast Off. There is no cockpit or wheels and it resembles more to the Orbital Sciences X-34 which is a Unmanned Re-usable Space plane rather than the brown Space Shuttle of the G1 Blast off.

Transformation: Stage 1 - The Lower limbs

1) Folded the wings up.

2) Rotate the the front ends of the wings as seen in the picture in order to separate the limbs' joint.

3) Move the mid portion of the plane up to show rotating knee area.

4) Split open the legs and remove the fins of the shuttle. The fin will in turn become the blade of Explorer.

5) Finally rotate the feet forward to complete the lower limbs transformation.

Done!

Transformation: Stage 2 - The Upper Limbs

6) The arms are hidden underneath the pointed section of the shuttle. Fold the front portion backwards to reveal the arms.

7) Open the arms and ensure the joints at the lower arms are matched.

8) Rotate the joints of the arms to become like the above. Once finished, upper limbs portion is done!

Transformation: Stage 3 - The Head

8) Open the chest and lift the head up. Easy.
