Toy Carnival@SAM 'LIVE'

Reach there around 10am, there were already people roaming round. For some, it seems they had already finished the shopping even though the banner says its suppose to start at 10am. I guess when it comes to sales or 'cheap lobang', Singaporeans will be there early for sure. I wouldn't be surprise if they turn up at 9am. Yes, I know what you are thinking..I'm also a Singaporean.

Some figurines here and there. The one that caught my eye is the Mark3 Ironman that is glowing in the middle. Can you find it?

Left: Battle damaged Ironman in the middle.
Right: Alternator wheeljacks were selling cheap at $45 ea. These were selling close to a hundred a year back. I'm not a fan of wheeljack and I already had a piece..skip....

A couple of familiar faces (from Ebay, Sgcollect and Yahoo auction pals) and the regular CSC sellers.

G & B Comics are there too. Comics selling at $10 SGD but hardly anything I need.

This is store of David or so call Prodimus in Sgcollect. You can always find tons of Korean GF with him. I saw a couple of vintage G1 Shockwave. Not sure if they are KOs.

The so call Toy carnival Exclusive which is limited to 150 pcs. Not sure how much they cost but

Starwars Gala

Starwars toys, figurines and even Starwars Lego stuff.

A toy carnival is never complete without Clone troopers. This is the 1st time i saw so many of them lurking. Where is Skywalker! Can someone page him?



Dark Vader using one of his force grip on the female Jedi.
Seems like there is no effect on her. This is high level Jedi Knight for goodness.

He uses his red lightsaber. Where are the troopers!!!!

Left: My 2 Toys kaki finding time for a shoot with the popular clone trooper. This 'clone trooper' is actually my toy kaki's colleague and I just found out the whole suit set cost close to 1K! Talk about Starwars fannatic.
Right: I'm not a fan of starwars but a photo of me and the clone trooper wouldn't hurt :P
I wonder how they pee :P

Cybertron TRU Exclusive Starscream

The Galaxy Force/Cybertron Starscream is by far one of the best looking Starscream around. This Starscream looks as evil as the character in the anime series and the mold is based on War within comics.

Cybertronian Jet mode

Robot mode

There are quite a couple of disappointing act about this mold. First, the lack of articulation in robot mode make it almost zero playability. Second, the laser turret at the lower part of body are fixed. It will be perfect if it can be rotate up and down.

Transformation

Transformation is simple. Nose of the jet becomes the feet. Back of jet is rotated to become the shoulder.

The Details

Despite all the minus points, I still love this mold. The details at the chest area are simply amazing and breathe taking. If there is one Starscream who should become a leader of Decepticon, this is the one. He looked damn fierce and arrogant.

No landing gear, only wheels.

Energon swords hidden in his arms. They are only activated when the Force clip is insert.

Force Clip ignition! Both Energon swords bust out from his arms once the clip was inserted. A bit letdown by the Rubbery feel swords though.
