Cybertron Con 2012 Part 1

The day had finally arrived. March the 11th. The day where Cybertron reaches out to the fans in Singapore. The day where Singaporeans and Transformers unite. Yes. I am talking about the Cybertron con 2012. The 1st time where such convention is held in Singapore. I have to give credit to Resort world sands and Hasbro SG for bringing this 4 days event here.

I was there the 1st day. I went pretty early to catch the opening ceremony. The whole thing is a forgettable performance. At least for me. It was actually some so call "precision" rifle drill put up by some students. Nevertheless, the performance will surely impress the event guest but certainly not us as we had seen these every year on National day parade.



When I reached there, many people were already queuing for the 1st 100 sets of event exclusive. It is actually a voyager DOTM Optimus prime with a trailer that has the universal studio logo printed on it. It also comes with a coin and tee-shirt. What makes it more attractive is that this is going to be sign by Hideaki Yoke (餘家英昭) who is the Takara's lead designer on Transformers.

Our Father of Transformers, Hideaki Yoke. You should see the way he put his signature on the exclusives. He does it slow and steady. No hurry at all and every piece is the same. Great patience and sincere man.
