Who are they??? 3rd Stop: MEGA SCF Convoy 1 & 2
sorry for the lack of updates....
Following my last review on the rare Obliterator Pyro, this week's feature is another non transformable PVC Bot; MEGA SCF Convoy 1 and 2. These FEB 2002 release from Takara stands 5 inches tall and each box comes with accessories to complement the character.

and right; MegaSCF TF 02 Convoy Cybertron Commander(Metallic Version)
:: Box Artwork
Left of the top box tab sports the series name: MEGA SCF meaning Super Collection Figure. Right of the box tab says " Super poseable and Full painted!!"...haha, please lor... I find this "Super Poseable" word amusing. It's either the Japanese english is limited or they are trying to lead us consumers because according to my understanding, Super Poseable = Highly articulate....
How can this MEGA SCF series be Super Poseable???
Front of the box has a window to show the contents inside.
Left bottom indicates Cybertron Commander Convoy. I personally prefer Cybertron General as what was written on BT 22. Sounds more 'garang'. Right corner of the box shows image of Optimus Prime with Takara logo.
Side of the box says "Freedom is the Right of all Sentient Beings"
Back of the box
The box of both version appeared to be the same.
The only difference is the label above the barcode which says either TV ver or Metallic Ver.
"The truth who the eyes met before"..can anyone tell me what this means?
I suppose this is another direct translation from Japanese.

:: Toy
The animated series pack includes extra hands,the Ion Blaster, the Energon Axe and the Matrix.
Takara surely had no intentions to hide any of the joints as they can be clearly seen esp the elbow joints. Articulation is minimum but should be one of better ones based on our grandfather time technology. The details on prime itself is something to cheer about as they were nicely outline just like how the Bandai Gundams were done.
Look Out!!! Prime with his Energon Axe.
Prime can always count on the Ion Blaster when hand to hand combat fail.
And if all others fail, Prime will extract the power from the Matrix of Leadership .
Accessories in Metallic version pack included a megatron in his alternate gun mode.
Gone are the matrix and Energon axe.
Metallic version as was described. Gone are the outlinings.
Prime using megatron gun mode instead of his Ion Blaster.
I wonder how megatron felt being grab on his ass XD...
Metallic Prime: I lost sight of Megatron! Where did he go?
Animated Prime: God damn it, look whats on your right hand.
Side by side comparison of both version
Comparison with 20th century Revoltech Optimus Prime.
