Cybertron / Galaxy Force Landbullet (Part 1)

This week will return to Galaxy Force series to review on Landbullet.

While watching the series, I am glad that Hasbro had chosen to create a Speedia world instead of nesting these speedsters on earth. This is because I always prefer cybertron vehicles to earthly vehicles. Cybertronion vehicles tends to be more futuristic and are often only limited by the designer's imagination.

Vehicle Mode:

Landbullet came from the land of Speedia; a planet where you will only find top speed vehicles. His vehicle mode is designed as a 3 wheeled vehicle with a low body almost to the ground to keep the CG down.  The front which consist of a single front wheel is paired by 2 nicely curved wing actuation on each side to improve his aerodynamics. The rear wheels are designed bigger to added power and grip for him to blaze through the tracks in Speedia. From the design, you can clearly see the designer's intend which is highly focus of aerodynamics and speed.

Landbullet has a 'fighter jet' look alike cockpit that has nice contours which blends well with the front wing actuation and the rest of the body. Something (guards/covers) that seems to be missing though is the area between the wing and the cockpit leaving the vehicle frames exposed.

For his color scheme, it focus mainly on shades of green with bits of grey, white and gold. The wheels, jet exhaust and cockpit are all in transparent blue.

From the rear, you can see 2 huge thrusters and the Cyber key inlet port that sits in the middle between the thrusters. The rear section looks to be wider to add stability and weight to vehicle.

Front and Rear view:

Looks more like a space rocket than a land vehicle from this angle.

Details:

Details with golden paint apps can be found on several parts of the body. This adds a touch of prestige to his design.

Transparent wheels and thrusters; will be amazing if only they light up when the wheels roll.

Golden exhaust details can be also found along the side of jet thrusters. Also are a pair of loose flaps on the  side of the thrusters that are barely held in place, there must have some reason for this.

Cyber key inlet placed in the middle of the thrusters, what could the ignition add to this already powerful vehicle?

Force ignition:

All Galaxy Force figures comes with force ignition gimmick. Let's see what Landbullet's force ignition does.

Upon ignition, the twin thrusters which are actually spring loaded, flipped forward and land on the area between the cockpit and the wing actuation. This action also in turn pushes the loose green flaps outwards to form his wings at the side. This explains the lack of covering at that area and also the loosely secured flaps which I pointed out earlier.

With the pair of heavy duty cannons pointing forward, what is lacking are the missiles. Yes. Landbullet do come with 2 green missiles that can be inserted and fire upon activation of the transparent blue button on the top.

With the thrusters flipped forward, the rear section looks a little bare.

Heavy artillery on the front.

A close up on the missiles.

Transformation:

Steps are easy. Rotate both rear wheels forward to the side to form the arms. Fold the mid section between the cockpit and rear to form the upper body. Flip the head up. Finally, flip the wing actuation to form the feet and the front frames to form the lower limbs.

Robot mode next week:

Next week we will see more of Landbullet in his robot mode.
