Who are they??? 2nd Stop: Obliterator Pyro

This week's feature is Pyro from the European Obliterator series that was release back in 1992. Pyro transforms from a Carmichael Cobra airport crash truck into a robot (front half) and a gun emplacement featuring a six-barrel missile launcher which actually fires as one rotates the knob on the back. His sticker sheet notably includes several different windshield decals, each with the word "FIRE" in a different language. In robot mode he has fairly limited articulation as well as an Optimus Prime-looking headsculpt, which was the trend with Autobot leaders at the time.

Information gathered from TF wiki

Vehicle mode: Pyro is split into 2 half, red cab (front) and yellow cabin (back)

Pyro's gun which looks more like the fire engine's deluge gun can be mounted onto the front cab. The 6 turret missile launcher would be activated during battle. Back of the cabin opens up to transport injured Autobot to safety.

Base mode: Back cabin can be transform into a battle station having the same concept as Optimus Prime. It consist of a 5 turrent missile launcher and a control station.

Lets look at how Pyro transforms from a airport crash truck to the defensor of earth....

Front Cab makes up Pyro, this is quite similar to RID Fire convoy.

Robot mode: Many of Pyro's parts are transparent esp the eyes makes it
looks cool when the light source is behind his head.

Pyro comes with 3 modes; RobotPyro, Vechicle and Base mode.
Here you can see Pyro at his battle station

I was not able to make it to the recent TRU sale at Novena but guess what, Lucky lucky me to find these during my lunch break at Jurong Point TRU and best of all the prices are the same as those at the sale. These are 'REALLY' cheap!!!!

Can't believe my eyes when I saw how cheap this is. Its an Ehobby exclusive. With this I complete my G2 mould that consist of Convoy, Black convoy and Ultra Magnus.

Who are they??? 1st stop: SCF GEN1 ACT series

These Takara SCF/Super Collection Figures are named Generation 1 Figures. They were released in 2000, non-transformable figures and are purely for display. If you have tons of them, you can put them together to form an army of them. Looks really cool and every figure is different in a way. There are a total of 10 sets and comes with all the colorful GEN 1 characters.

From left to right: G1 Prime in ACT 4, G1 Prime in ACT 1 and G1 Prime in ACT 5

Some Crystal Clear Optimus Prime. Not sure what ACT is it from.

The one on the far right is a SCF exclusive set called TF Confrontation Set 01 Optimus Prime V.S Megatron at the 2002 Tokyo Game Show. It comes as a box set of Optimus Prime and Megatron. The unqiue thing about this set is that each of them were repainted as battle damaged.

From Left to Right: Powermaster Prime from ACT 2, God Ginrai from ACT 1

The set above is another SCF GEN1 Wonderfest 2002 exclusive released in Feb which was limited to only 1000 sets. It comes with a repaint metallic Optimus Prime holding Megatron in his alternate mode and a metallic Optimus Prime in his alternate trailer mode.

More to come.....

Generations of Optimus Prime (80%)

It is only recently that I realized how much Optimus Prime I had to date. This is after I finally had time to assemble all of them at one go. In fact, I spend 5 hours to take this group photo believe it or not. From taking them out of my store room, getting them out of the box and transforming every one of them to arranging them. I can swear to you even if you are a die hard Transformers Fan.....it was tough and lots of patience were needed!!! Maybe next time, I am going to get an assistant for help. The worse part of it was that I missed out some of my Optimus Primes which were kept so well that I had slipped them out of my mind until I had kept everyone of them back. How disappointing....and you would have guess that I didn't bother for another reshoot as I was too tired for it. Some other day perhaps but for now, lets just enjoy what I had installed for you.....cheers :D

A group shot. Can you guess how many are there?

From the top view. Are you still counting?

Some Close up shot
